Information on visits (+/- 1h30 / 2 hours)
The visit begins with a guided tour of over 600 objects relating
to marriage habits and customs in France from 1820-1920, including
a number of rare and remarkable items previously used in wedding
ceremonies. The visitor is then shown a number of rare exhibits
from the champagne industry and is introduced to the history of
champagne and its region through an impressive collection of old
labels dating from the years 1820 - 1920. The tour continues in
the 18th century wine cellars where a collection of old tools used
in the wine-making industry may be seen. The tour finishes with
a flute of dry champagne and a glass of ratafia liqueur. Our champagne
and ratafia can also be purchased, along with a range of local products
and other gifts.
Opening hours: All year from 9 to 11 a.m. and 2 to 6 p.m. (3 p.m.
